Brian Kennedy, founder
Brian is the founder and CEO of Foothill Fuels. Brian has a background in biomaterials, climate, and data science. He loves splitboarding, surfing, and making products and technology that get us a teeny bit closer to a circular economy.
Scott Eaton, Phd
Scott is the Chief Technology Officer and "fuel guru" at Foothill Fuels. Scott has 15 years experience developing alternative fuels and holds 6 patents for clean fuel technologies. He has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and is a champion of a 'net zero carbon’ future. He is an avid hiker and trail runner and spends most of his free time in the New England mountains and green spaces.
Ponch Membreño
Ponch is an outdoor industry veteran of over 25 years. After starting as an educator and Wilderness Trip Leader, he used those skills in leadership and strategic positions for The Chewonki Foundations, Patagonia, Toad&Co, Lincoln Canoe & Kayak, and Intrinsic Provisions. He’s partnered with 100s of outdoor brands as a buyer and seller and looks for collaborative relationships.
Ponch lives on Peaks Island, ME with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. He’s a board member of the Chewonki Foundation, Maine Outdoor Brands, Portland Parks Conservancy, and Portland Greendrinks.
